Bull Fight

Still playing around with the Photoshop animation function, using tweens to aim for that dramatic side scrolling close ups - kind of like in Japanese cartoons.

Also was picturing a fight scene between a matador and bull… yet to be planned out.

Yeti,Take 2

I think I like this colouring style a little more...

Yeti Character Design

A Yeti character design attempt. This is for an assignment at school where we basically have to create two characters that clearly fit in the same story and universe (as in design and style). So, this guy still needs a partner of sorts, which is yet(i) to come.

Bull Awakening

Don't disturb a sleeping bull from its slumber. It never ends well.

Island Life

Just some concept stuff for a tropical themed idea. Had fun exploring sharp, angular shapes and bold colours.

And of course, still aiming to master the animation function in Photoshop.

This is a video from this years graduate films from GOBELINS (French animation school).

The quality and style of this particular film is just the best. Such awesome colour as well.

Skull

Was working on this design for t-shirts, canvases, mugs etc.
I don't have many products, but you can check out stuff to buy with my designs here.

Rocket

Not the happiest with this one, definitely needs improvement in certain areas. But nonetheless, still fun to animate in Photoshop.

Sludge

Just some green sludge dripping off some pipes. Done in Photoshop.

This animation test evolved from water drops off leaves.

Also tried a grainy, old-film type look as well.

Derek Powers

So, apparently this guy is a pretty important villain in the Batman Beyond series. I have never seen the show, but with characters like these, I might give it a go.

This was also todays topic on Sketch Dailies, so naturally I gave it a shot. Love the lime green radioactive skin he apparently has on the show, so had a lot of fun with bold colours and brushes on Photoshop.

Welcome

Here I will post my art and illustrations. I'm currently studying animation in Vancouver, so hopefully you can see my progress and improvement with my work along the way (that is of course if I do improve…. fingers crossed).

Might also be posting some cool information or articles about anything to do with animation, art, graphic design and illustration along the way. Could be a fun ride.
